Meet the JoBella Team

MAURA is the owner of JoBella Salon when it was founded in 2005. She started in the industry in 1990 in an Aveda Salon in New Haven. Maura is a certified Master Colorist, has extensive education in razor haircutting, precision haircutting and makeup artistry. She trains and mentors all of our new talent at JoBella. Learning new techniques to make her clients feel beautiful is a passion. Attending quarterly classes in our industry is so important no matter how long you have been in our industry. Outside of JoBella you will find Maura traveling, baking and enjoying life with her husband and 2 children Joe and Bella. Favorite Aveda product: Potion, it creates fantastic volume for all hair types, especially fine hair.

Starting out in 1982 Claudia followed her dream to own her own salon for 8 years. She loves the design of cut and color, the social interaction and making her clients feel and look great. With her many years of experience she can create any style and still keeps up with the most current styles. Outside of JoBella you can find Claudia spending her time shopping and spending her time with friends and family. Favorite Aveda product: Confixor, creates great hold for any style.

Starting out in 2010 Angelica attended the Paul Mitchell school for Hair in North Haven, she has always dreamed of becoming a hairstylist.Joining JoBella in 2011 Angelica has attended the Wella studio for creative color design and Aveda & Wella training. Outside of JoBella you can find Angelica at the movies, the gym or shopping. Favorite Aveda product: Smooth infusion style prep smoother, Lightweight product that gives the hair a smooth shiny finish while fighting humidity.
